ALA Learning Mission Statement The mission of the ALA Learning Wiki is to provide a comprehensive clearinghouse of tools and resources for those interested in learning and training in libraries. ALA Learning Wiki Goals Help those responsible for training and learning to tap into new resources by: - Providing tools and resources for developing, delivering, and implementing training and learning programs.
- Providing an open forum for free-flowing discussion about training and learning.
ALA Learning Wiki Sharing Guidelines The ALA Learning Wiki, your clearinghouse for tools and resources related to training and learning, is also a communicative and collaborative environment for fellow site builders. Wiki pages and content elements include a comment feature to allow visitors to leave feedback about resources. The wiki also includes a discussion forum for engaging fellow site builders. The ALA Learning Round Table will not censor or edit content contributed to the site, unless it violates Wetpaint’s terms of use or shows disregard of professionalism. Wiki administrators reserve the right to modify or delete wiki content at their discretion. Please be especially mindful of copyright when sharing content. Repeat violation of these guidelines may result in banning from the ALA Learning Wiki.
